At Fluid we are passionate about improving peoples quality of life and wellbeing through the creation of stunning and uplifting buildings and environments that contribute to both the user and the wider physical, social and cultural context.

Each and every one of our projects is undertaken with an honest, committed and open approach which enables us to develop strong, long lasting relationships with our clients and the project team involved. Since inception we have established an enviable reputation for flexibility, commitment and a passionate approach to each project ensuring only the highest quality product and professional service is provided.

We understand that each scheme is different and we work closely with our clients to apply a bespoke and tailored service to suit their requirements. We design our schemes with compassion and with the happiness of our clients at the forefront of every decision we make.

We have a proven track record in creating and developing development opportunities that regularly benefit and enhance property portfolios. We can introduce development opportunities including site finding, development funding (through our associates) and provide architectural scheme development from concept to project completion, to both existing and new clientele.

We are very proud to have received both regional and national recognition for our works in both healthcare and building restoration, having won multiple prestigious design awards. We are delighted to have won three Pinders Healthcare Design Awards since 2015 and have been shortlisted for the Best New Build Care Home in the UK, 2018, at this years Pinders Healthcare Design Awards.

Matthew Coulson

Director

Matthew's passion and interest in Architecture and Construction was developed from a young age having grown up within a family owned construction company. Following the completion of his school and college studies Matthew successfully undertook a BA Honours Degree in Interior Architecture and Design at University in Nottingham. Having graduated from this course in 2002 Matthew started his working career in London working for a number of private architectural practitioners largely undertaking high end residential developments and refurbishments. He left London in 2005 to join a large architectural practice in York working alongside Andrew. In 2007 he moved on to join a Harrogate based architectural firm as their Senior Technician and during his time here developed the Healthcare portfolio. In 2009 Matthew joined Havercroft Construction as their Design and Build in-house Architectural Designer and Healthcare co-odinator.

Andrew Jenkins

Director

Andrew has worked in Architectural Practice since 1985 starting with a small firm of Architects in Selby which specialised in private housing, estate design and luxury barn conversions. In 1994 Andrew joined a large firm of Architects based in York and managed a large team who specialised in large residential, live:work and healthcare developments throughout the UK. Through his hard work for the practice Andrew became a Company Director in 2003.
